- After growing up in RI I attended Plymouth State University and received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. While there I played basketball for four years and met my future husband, a football player and Physical Education major.
- We moved to North Cownay after graduating where I began teaching at John Fuller Elementary School in the fifth grade. After working at Jackson Grammar School and Kingswood Middle School, Vaughn was hired at Kennett High School as a PE teacher and Assistant Football Coach for the Eagles.
- We got married in September of 2009 and had a beautiful baby girl, Gabriella, in September of 2011.
